Cluster Panel (KVM)
The Cluster Panel is the per-cluster control plane for KVM/libvirt hypervisor management — the virtual machines, the storage and networking they run on, and the physical hardware underneath. It's where an operator provisions and manages VM instances with GPU passthrough, carves up datastores and networks, and keeps the cluster's nodes, licensing, and certificates in order.
Draft — needs screenshots. Unlike the User Panel and Admin Panel guides on this site, the Cluster Panel doesn't yet have automated screenshot capture. The pages in this section are grounded in the current product code (its routes and page components), not a live capture — treat the steps as accurate but verify against the running product, and expect screenshots once this section goes through the docs-capture pipeline.
Signing in
Access the Cluster Panel with the credentials issued for your account, in the same way as the Admin and User Panels.
What's in this section
- Instances — create, resize, migrate, and manage the lifecycle of KVM virtual machines, their network interfaces, virtual disks, PCI devices, logs, and console.
- Networking — the cluster's internal networks and external subnets.
- Storage — datastores built from physical disks, and the virtual disks that live on them.
- Resource Groups — scope nodes, networks, datastores, and devices into a bounded set of resources.
- Infrastructure — the physical layer: racks, chassis types, and compute nodes.
- Templates and Flavors — OS image templates and the sizing presets used when provisioning instances.
- Alerts — cluster-wide alerts and their severity breakdown.
- Administration — users and access, licensing, SSL certificates, secure domain, template repositories, device inventory, and logs.
- Data Protection — the automated metadata backup schedule and how to restore from a backup.
